Patrick Robinson, Co-Founder
Patrick was raised in Nashville, TN. He graduated with a business administration
degree in finance from the University of Alabama in 2009. Patrick started his career in
healthcare management for Maxim Healthcare in Memphis, TN. He moved on to work as
a regional sales director for Nashville-based BancCard of America that specialized in
payment processing.
Patrick’s role at Capital Payments includes business development of partnerships and
managing the sales team. In his free time, Patrick loves to travel with his wife and four
kids and is an avid Tennessee Titans fan, attending every home game.
Matt Schweiker, Co-Founder
Matt was raised in Memphis, TN. He graduated with a business degree from the
University of Alabama in 2008. Matt started his career in aerospace sales for Saint-
Gobain in Seattle, WA. He moved on to work as a sales/marketing director and
guide for a boutique travel agency based out of Southern China that operated trips
internationally.
Matt’s role at Capital Payments includes managing community bank relationships and a
focus on operations. In his free time, Matt is an ultra-endurance cyclist and loves to
travel internationally.
Thomas Campbell, Vice President of Sales
Thomas was raised in Maryville, TN. He started his career in the payment processing
industry in 2012. In 2017, Thomas transitioned into the healthcare sector as a medical
sales executive for Radsource in Nashville, then merged back into the payments
industry to focus on his true passion of consulting clients’ financial needs.
Thomas’ role at Capital Payments includes developing the community bank, CPA, and
web developer channel while helping manage and grow the sales team. In his free time,
Thomas enjoys playing golf and spending time in the mountains.
Buddy Morris, Senior Account Executive
Buddy is a native of Eastern North Carolina. He graduated with a business
administration degree from East Carolina University in 1969. After serving 2 years in
the US Army he began his banking career at First National Bank of Atlanta in 1971.
In 1980 he moved to Charlotte, NC as a Vice President with First Union National Bank
and in 1992 moved to Birmingham as a Senior VP with AmSouth Bank. In 1996, he
started BMC Associates; a consulting firm that affiliated with JLS Associates in 1997.
Buddy’s role with Capital Payments is to manage and develop customer relationships.
He is married with 5 children, 9 grand children and 1 great grandchild. His hobbies
consist of playing golf, traveling and attending as many Georgia football games as
possible.
Charles Chapleau, Senior Account Executive
Charles was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. He graduated with a communications
degree from the University of Alabama in 2010. Charles started his career in life
insurance working for Northwestern Mutual in Mobile, AL. He then moved west to
Colorado where he spent three years working with Ski Patrol in Beaver Creek for Vail
Resorts. He relocated to Denver, CO in 2016 where he managed production and
distribution in the medical industry. Charles returned home to Florida in 2018 to further
his career in the digital payments space.
Charles’ role at Capital Payments includes client development with a specialization in
the medical sector across the Florida panhandle. His interests in his down time include
fishing, skiing, fitness, and landscape design.
Lauren Gardella, Senior Account Executive
Lauren was raised in Nashville, TN. She attended the University of Mississippi
before moving to Los Angeles, CA where she worked as a networking liaison in the
entertainment and hospitality industry. In 2016, Lauren relocated to the Southeast
where she grew up to focus on her career in payment processing.
Laurens’ role at Capital Payments includes managing client acquisitions with a
specialization in automotive and trucking. In her free time, Lauren loves spending time
with her family and traveling.
Parker Patterson, Senior Account Executive
Parker was raised in Memphis, TN. She graduated from the University of Alabama
in 2008 with a degree in apparel and textile design with a minor in business and
marketing. After graduating, Parker moved to Doha, Qatar, and worked as a civilian
contractor for the United States Air Force. After touring many countries while living
abroad in the Middle East, she moved home to help manage a wealth management
firm in Memphis, TN before expanding her career in sales.
Parkers’ role with Capital Payments includes managing our Mid South market with a
concentration of growth in retail and industrial sectors. In her free time, she enjoys
spending time with her fitness community, cooking and traveling to new destinations.
